Basic Differences between ME and Mtech:-
The ME is known as Plain engineering while Mtech is known as Master in Engineering Technology. M.E is knowledge oriented and ME Distance education is based on Skills. M.E is based on theories and M tech is made of application management. In ME concepts are clarified while in Mtech the practical of these concepts are understood.
Despite having some differences both the courses are similar as far as the Master degrees are concerned. The Postgraduates in both streams are considered equivalent. Actually, The ME in foreign countries is called M tech only.

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Instrumentation Engineering
  • Transportation Engineering
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Infrastructure System
Who should we join  ME/Mtech:-
These courses are the toughest to go through. At first, the admission is very tough since it involves entrance tests. For this many of the students have to undergo coaching. Even then not all of the students can crack the entrance examinations. Even after passing the exams the ranking has to be good for getting the best college. Therefore the one who has been a meritorious student throughout his academic years should go for the courses. English must be good since the courses involve an understanding of technologies in the English language.  Moreover, the expenses are also at a very high range. So only the ones who can afford all of the above-mentioned things should go for the courses.
In every field today there is need of technology and hence the engineers. The m.tech in distance education and M tech make engineers and so there is always need of them in the professional world. The courses can get you at top positions in the corporate world.
Among all degrees, the engineering degree is considered to be the best ones. Moreover being an engineer and being called so also gives great satisfaction.
Master in Engineering degree full of opportunities for any aspiring engineer respect different field in biological, civil, electronic, industrial or software engineering.
