The journalism program has a minimum duration of one year for a diploma, and three years for the degree. What are the Skill Requirements for Journalism Courses After 12th?

  • Every candidate must be aware of the fact that having an education of 10+2 is required for pursuing journalism courses. This must be pursued by a known educational board and institute.

Eligibility Criteria for Journalism Courses after 12th

  • An applicant needs to have passed the 12th class from a recognized institute,
  • If a student has passed a diploma-level course or an equivalent course for 12th class can apply for admission,
  • A minimum score of 45% is needed to be scored by the applicant in the previous education,

Bachelor in Journalism Course

After completing class 12th students with an interest in journalism prospects get the opportunity for getting into bachelor in journalism courses after 12th. Admission to these courses is generally conducted after considering the scores of an applicant in their preliminary or qualifying exams.

The basic eligibility criteria that are asked for admission to these courses is that the applicant should have completed their 10+2 level study from a recognized institution while having a minimum of 55% score.
