B. Ed Couse in India is an undergraduate degree course which prepares students for work as a teacher in schools. Previously this degree was known as BT- Bachelor of Training  Many Universities conduct entrance exams for admission to B.Ed programs in India. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is a professional degree. It is a full-time professional teacher education program of the duration of two academic years, after graduate or postgraduate studies, leading to a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Degree. Teaching was and still is one of the most popular career choices among students Thus, BEd is a professional course and right after completing this course, students can get a job at the school level. However, to become a teacher at the pre-nursery, nursery, primary, secondary and senior secondary levels in schools or to become a professor at the college/university level, aspirants need to possess the right qualifications.

Apart from this, aspirants are informed that they need to appear for Teacher Eligibility Tests (TETs) in order to be hired as teachers at the school as well as college level. The eligibility criteria for most of the TETs conducted in India is that aspirants need to have completed their BEd degree. senior auxiliary levels in schools or to turn into a teacher at the school/college level, competitors need to have the correct capabilities. BEd or Bachelor of Education isn’t a college degree and to seek after this course one needs to be finished his/her graduation.

B.Ed Course in India Duration, Eligibility & Criteria 

Applicants need to be finished their graduation in any stream ( Arts, Science or Commerce) in order to be eligible to apply for a Bachelor of Education course. However, most popular colleges allow candidates to take part in their admission process for BEd course if they have graduated with at least 50% aggregate marks at the UG level. Earlier Days the duration time period of B.Ed course was 1 year now it has been increased to 2 years. This course can be pursued as a full-time or through distance learning. After completing the BEd course, candidates are eligible to be hired as teachers. So, before pursuing this course it is worth knowing whether one has the aptitude to make a difference in this field or not. B.Ed Entrance Examination

Admission to B Ed course done on the basis of entrance examination B.Ed  Entrance Examination are usually organized in the month of “June- July” and consist of Objective type questions about Math Ability and Mental Ability Questions, English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic Teaching Potential and one local language in some states. The results of these exams are generally out by “July- August”.
